“Softness Within the Wild.” — The Internal Landscapes of Chelsea Young

In the sunny front room of the Christopher Moller Gallery, Chelsea Young’s paintings offer a quiet yet profound reimagining of the African landscape.

Through three selected works, Curator Gerben Meiring explores the artist’s meditative approach to abstraction, where landscape and portraiture dissolve into one another—evoking memory, presence, and the shifting textures of place.
